New Surgery Recovery Program

Optimizing surgical recovery reduces risk and maximizes positive outcomes after orthopedic surgery. Consequently, it has become increasingly important for patients to have access to high-quality pre-surgical care and focused post-surgical recovery care to promote successful surgical outcomes.

Despite the increasing awareness of the value of high-quality before-surgery and after-surgery care, many surgical clinics and facilities are too short-staffed to provide the necessary services. Additionally, Oklahoma has rigid requirements for managing acute pain following surgery, limiting a surgeon’s medication management options.

To provide patients with an alternative high-quality surgical recovery care option, Elite Pain & Health developed a program to meet the needs of surgery patients. We refer to our exclusive program as the Surgical Health and Recovery Program or SHARP.
